2026 Fall Flag Football
Skills Evaluations
Saturday, August 1, 2026
at Mae Richardson Elementary
Sessions:
2nd/3rd/4th Grades - 9:00am-10:30am
5th/6th/7th Grades - 10:45am-noon
Come any time during your grade's session.
It takes about 30 minutes to get through all the stations. You must check in & out.
Kona Ice will be on site!
If your player can't make it to skills evaluations:
If you player can not be there for the evaluations, don't worry.
If your player is not evaluated, they will not be drafted, but will be placed randomly onto a team.
Payments:
You may make your payment in person for your player or sponsorship at the Skills Evaluations - See Misty.
Payments may be made by cash or check (make check out to: Junior Comet Sports - Flag Football).
Debit or Credit Card payments must be done online at juniorcometsports.com *ONLY*
Special Requests:
Do not text or email special requests, these can get missed.
Any requests for Flag Football MUST be done IN PERSON AT SKILLS EVALUATIONS,
noted on your players evaluation card during Skills Evaluation Day - NO EXCEPTIONS.
The program needs time to make sure that requests that we can honor are applied
(please remember that requests are requests and NOT guaranties) appropriately for those players based on
team practice times and create a practice schedule (which is no small task).
Siblings:
Siblings/Children in the same household - These players, if in the same level, will be placed on the same team together (unless you would like them separated).
Draft Day:
Saturday, August 8, 2026 - COACHES ONLY
Time/Location: TBD
These details will be communicated to coaches.
Families will not be contacted by their coach until several days after the draft (draft will be 8/8/26)
regarding the team their child will be on and when and where practices will be held.
Once these administrative tasks are finalized, the director will inform coaches that it is now "OK" for them to contact their players and begin practicing.
Practices begin: August 17, 2026
Teams are allowed (3) practices per week until 9/4/26 (60-90 minutes max each).
Teams will then have (2) practices per week after 9/6/26 60-90 minutes max each.
Games begin: Saturday, September 5th
Location: Mae Richardson Elementary
Times: 9:00am & 10:30am - All regular season games on Saturdays
Final games: Sunday, October 25, 2026 at Crater High School
Times: TBD
