The Flag Football League: There will be two divisions of play. An Upper Division [Older Players - the Black League] composed primarily of 5th & 6th grade players and and a Lower Division [Younger Players - the Orange League] composed primarily of 2nd & 3rd grade players. The 4th grade registrants need to sign up in the 2/3/4 grade division, but they will be "SWING" players, and will be assigned to the Upper or Lower division based on: age, experience, athleticism, size and skills. The season will start by having approximately two days of training and skills development, with all registered players participating, prior to the Skills Evaluation day and then being placed onto teams. Once teams are selected those teams will have two practices per week of 1-1/2 hours max each. Practice location and games will be primarily held at Mae Richardson Elementary. Games will be played primarily on Saturdays for both divisions with the occasional weekday evening game. The final games for the Upper League and Lower League will be held at Crater High School.

General Information
- Flag football is open to boys and girls aged 2nd through 6th grades
- Flag football is Co-Ed
- * Sibling Discounts: In order to have a discount apply you will need to call the program director (or one of them). The discount must be applied manually by a director. Discounts are not automatically applied!
- $50 per athlete, $90 for two siblings, and $120 max per family
- Note that no discount is awarded for participation in other Jr. Comet Sports programs
- 2022 Season Information
- Registration opens: Monday May 15th, 2023
- Registration closes: Friday August 4th, 2023
- Football Skills and Techniques - 1 day Training sessions:
- Friday August 4th 6pm - 8pm
- Location: Mae Richardson Elementary
- Skills Evaluation day:
- Saturday August 5th 9am - 12pm (Skills Evaluations - come any time in between 9am and Noon)
- Location: Mae Richardson Elementary
- ***All players are expected to attend this skills evaluation.
- ***Players should wear appropriate athletic attire and shoes.
- ***If you cannot make the evaluation due to pervious plans your child will still be put on a team as long as payment has been received!
- League Draft (COACHES ONLY):
- When: Saturday August 12th
- Time: TBD
- Where: Odd Fellows Lodge
- Practices begin: As Early As August 14th
- Games begin: Saturday September 9th
- Final games: Saturday October 28th
Registration Instructions
- Determine which program you want to preregister in and click the orange "register" button.
- In the new page that opens you will register your account.
- You must read and accept the terms of the "waiver".
- Then you add the athlete(s) information.
- Pay with a credit card.
- Your child must still attend and complete the Skill Evaluations (date listed above).
