*The SafeSport Trained Core (See image under the u12/14) course is a requirement, and the first time through this course will take approximately 90 minutes. All subsequent annual Safe Sport renewals will be an abbreviated version of this initial course called "Refresher" courses.

2. Complete OYSA Background Check
- CLICK HERE to create an account in Sports Affinity (OYSA).
- Click "Registration" in the top right area of the screen
- Enter your existing user name (if a returning U12/14 Coach) and password, or create a new account.
- Follow the steps to complete the registration process and background check.
- After completing the registration and background it may require you to log out. You will need to log back in.
- After logging back in you should be brought to a page that looks like the image below.
3. Complete CDC "Heads Up Concussion Course"
- CLICK HERE for concussion course.
- Enter your existing user name and password or create a new account.
- For new accounts, follow the link provided in your email to access the course.
- Complete the heads-up concussion course (takes about 30 minutes)
- Upload completion certificate to your account (see example image below)
4. Complete Safe Sport Trained Core Course - (this course may cost $20.00 you will be reimbursed)
- CLICK HERE for Safe Sport course. Safesport Trained Core - see below.
- Enter your existing user name and password or create a new account.
- Complete the Safe Sport course
- Upload completion certificate to your Sports Affinity account (see example image below)
- *If you are a returning coach and have already completed the 90 minute course you will only need to complete the "Refresher" course.

We are a recreational league composed of volunteers.
Our board members and coaches are all volunteers; none of which receive remuneration. Our programs function thanks to volunteers, and we have not figured out how to manufacture or clone helpers and/or coaches. We have always had excellent community support and we are hoping that continues to give us the ability to serve all those children wishing to participate in one of our programs.
